Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Comfort Care Home Health Services wants everyone, including people with disabilities and older adults, to be able to use this website. Many of the people we serve have low vision, tremor, hearing loss, or fatigue, and many are using a phone with one hand. We built the site with that in mind.

What we have done

  • Large, readable type and strong color contrast between text and background, including text placed over photos.
  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link at the top.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images. The homepage video has no sound, and each scene carries its message as on-screen text.
  • The site honors the "reduce motion" setting on your device, and there are no moving backgrounds.
  • Pages work without JavaScript, on small phone screens, and when text is enlarged in the browser.
  • Form fields have visible labels and plain-language error messages. There are no time limits.
  • Non-English text is marked with its language so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
  • Clickable targets, such as buttons and the call bar, are large enough to press easily.

Standards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We review the site regularly and fix problems we find.

Known limitations

Some links go to other websites, such as Medicare.gov, whose accessibility we do not control. Downloadable documents from other organizations may not be fully accessible. If you run into a document you cannot use, contact us and we will help you get the information another way.
